Embark on a thrilling desert journey from Marrakech to Fez, a three-day tour  with group , designed to uncover Morocco’s hidden gems and majestic landscapes. Spend an unforgettable night in the Sahara Desert, trek the Erg Chebbi dunes by camel, and discover the beauty of UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou, the Valley of the Roses, and traditional Berber villages. This adventure offers an in-depth exploration of Morocco’s vibrant culture and stunning scenery.

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou – Tinghir

Your desert tour from Marrakech to Fez begins early in the morning with a departure at 7:30 AM. We’ll traverse the scenic High Atlas Mountains, passing Tizi-n-Tichka, one of Morocco’s highest road passes (2260m), where you’ll have the chance to capture breathtaking photos of this panoramic view. Journeying through charming Berber villages, we arrive at the historic Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a backdrop for Hollywood films. After lunch, we’ll continue to Kelaat Mgouna in the Valley of the Roses, especially enchanting during the rose season (mid-April to mid-May). Overnight stay with dinner included in a hotel in Tinghir.

Day 2: Tinghir – Merzouga – Sahara Desert

After breakfast, we head to the Todra Gorge, renowned for its towering ochre cliffs reaching 300 meters high, separated by narrow gaps as close as 20 meters in some places. This natural wonder is perfect for both scenic exploration and rock climbing. After lunch, we’ll travel through Tinjdad, with an opportunity to view the ancient Khettara underground irrigation system, before reaching Merzouga and the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest in North Africa.
Here, you’ll embark on a camel trek across the golden sands, arriving at a fully equipped desert camp where you’ll dine under the stars and sleep in a traditional nomadic tent. Capture stunning sunset and sunrise photos and delve into the mysteries of the Sahara’s endless horizons.

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, an unforgettable moment of the journey. After breakfast, we depart for Fez, passing through the lush Ziz Valley, with a stop to photograph the endless views of palm trees. We’ll continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to a lively colony of Barbary monkeys along the road. Enjoy coffee, lunch, and photo breaks as we pass through valleys, forests, and mountains, eventually reaching the “Switzerland of Morocco,” the pristine town of Ifrane, known for its beautiful alpine-style architecture and cleanliness.

We arrive in Fez around 6 PM, concluding your memorable Marrakech to Fez desert tour with a drop-off at your Riad or hotel.
